In the web app, choose “Create account”: a public username, your e-mail address and a password of at least 15 characters. Then sign in to the iPhone app with the same e-mail address and password – or create the account right there.

Turn-by-turn guidance needs your precise position: to tell which road you are on and to announce turns at the right moment. The app asks for access “While Using”. Without it you can still plan routes between places you search for, but the app cannot guide you. You can change it at any time in the iOS settings.

Saved routes can be made available offline: the app stores the route and the map around it on your iPhone, and you follow it without a connection. Planning a new route, searching for places, convoys and the community features need a connection.

In the app: Settings › Account › Delete account. In the web app: Settings › Delete account. You confirm with your password; your account and everything you created are deleted at once and cannot be restored.
